At ARAH RIDES, we don't set the prices; hence, we can't guarantee the price that our ArahPros set. Our service allows you to quickly compare results from our ArahPros car rental listing. Occasionally, accuracy issues may arise due to discrepancies in the information uploaded to our site.
Why aren't prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices for car rentals can change frequently, and multiple users may be attempting to book the same option simultaneously. As a result, certain prices may become unavailable.
Help! I need to change/cancel my reservation!
ARAH RIDES is a car rental marketplace that compares rental car products from various companies to find the lowest price. When you choose a product, we facilitate you within our site to complete your reservation. We don't collect or manage reservation information; for changes or cancellations, contact the car rental company directly via the messaging feature on the site. Cancellations/Itinerary Changes Policy
The cancellation policy is subject to the regulations of each car rental company and may vary based on the conditions selected during booking. Check the cancellation policy when reviewing the vehicle details before canceling.
Where is my car rental reservation?
Check your email, log into your Arah Ride account, or contact the provider directly. If you have forgotten the Arah Pro's name, email us at info@arahrides.com.
What are the age requirements to rent a car?
Age limits vary, please review car rental provider’s (ArahPro) rules for age limits. ARAH RIDES doesn’t set renter age policies.
Rental Cars
We facilitate reservations with rental car suppliers, subject to their contracts. Prices may vary based on special requests and items purchased during the booking process. Requests for specific car types are not guaranteed. Our ARAH RIDES car rental reservations are non-changeable, non-endorsable, non-transferable, and non-refundable based on the cancelation policy selected.
Car Rental Services
A valid Driver's License and credit card, or, at the rental car company's discretion, a debit card consistent with the transactional details provided to an ArahPro, must be presented when picking up a vehicle at the designated location.
All rentals will include Taxes, Fees, and Surcharges ("TFS") associated with the Time and Mileage (T&M) for the rental, based on the timing and pick-up/drop-off of the rental.
If you choose to add a child seat, the charge for reserving an infant seat varies by the rental company that accepts your request and is in addition to what you paid for your reservation. These charges are deducted from your security deposit directly to the rental company.
Charges for Taxes and Service Fees
To facilitate your rental car transaction, we charge your payment method for Taxes and Fees, in addition to the base rate. This charge includes an amount we pay on your behalf to recover the fees owed by the rental car supplier, such as sales and use tax, excise tax, value-added tax, airport or facility taxes, surcharges, or other similar fees. The charge is intended to cover the amount we may be required to pay the rental car supplier, and it may be greater or less than the actual payment to the supplier for taxes, fees, and surcharges. We retain the balance of the charge for Taxes and Fees as part of the compensation for our facilitation services, covering costs like customer service and additional fees.
The charge for Taxes and Fees varies based on several factors, including the amount you pay to ARAH RIDES and your car from the rental car supplier. We will always disclose the "Total Charges" to you before you submit your request.
It's important to note that we are not the vendor collecting and remitting taxes to the applicable taxing authorities for the rental car. The rental car companies, as vendors, collect all applicable taxes from us, and we pay such amounts directly to the vendors on your behalf. The taxability, appropriate tax rate, and the type of applicable taxes for car rentals vary greatly by location and are determined by the rental car company.
In connection with facilitating your retail rental car transaction, we provide you, when available, with a breakdown of the estimated taxes, fees, and surcharges that may apply to your transaction. Although we will not charge you for these taxes, fees, and surcharges, the car rental supplier will.
